The article is devoted to the problem of implementation of contemporary progressive teaching methods, which influence on the quality of education of future specialists. In particular, the article is focused on intensification and broadening of professional competences by means of special supplementary programmes (minors), built on the principles of Bologna Process: orientation on the competence approach and the use of ECTS modules in the structure of the programmes.
